We’re So Sensitive

6 Feb

According to Eucerin’s website, 50 to 60 percent of the population (world? US? not sure) claim to have sensitive skin. If you go on LoveToKnow, apparently over 20 percent do (which I guess would be true if Eucerin’s numbers hold up). But it doesn’t matter if sensitive skin-havers are the majority or the minority; it just sucks.

I know “sensitive skin” is a pretty broad classification and there’s no miracle lotion, ointment or whatever that will work for everyone with the ailment. (I’ve gotta come up with a better word for that. Issue? Nah. Challenge! Yes.) But, if the people that make up the rest of the sensitive skin population are anything like me, they’ve tried– and will continue to try– EVERYTHING to feel and look better.

This probably sounds like I’m selling something. I’m not. This blog is to create a space for trying new products, learning new tips and discovering great designers (I’m thinking jewelry) that have sensitive skin in mind.
